Donation

On June 27, 2009 from 10-3, Riverhouse in Eden will be having a fund raiser for the Animal Protection Society of Rockingham County, helping animals in need. I have decided to donate this piece. I hope it will make a little money to help all the little animals!!!! SOLD!!!!

True Treasure

This is truly a treasure. Yesterday while at yard sales LD found this lovely tile. It is marked Made in Holland Ter Steege. It's also sad....this was obviously at a sale where either the owner had passed or was on longer able to live alone. I wish the original owner could know how lovely I think it is....and will treasure it also.

This is the only "treasure" I found at yard sales this weekend. BUT I've never seen an octagon shaped serving tray!!!

The Flower Pot

I used my tile nippers to shape the pot....I broke three tiles before I had one to hold the shape. It was much harder to do than I thought it would be!!!!!!!!

I gave this one to Betty for Mother's Day.....I think she really liked it!!!!

The Little Fiddle

I really like the way this turned out. This was actually a cutting board shaped like a fiddle. This is one of those things that the second I saw it....I just knew what tile I was going to use!!

This is a little piece of wedge wood that had a picture glued to the front....so I scraped off the picture and made sort of a four leaf clover on it.
